Terms of Service

By reading here you agree to the handful of rules below. They exist mainly to keep an unpublished book unpublished.

The manuscript is confidential

You are reading an unpublished, unedited manuscript. Please don’t share, paste, upload, publish or quote any part of it, publicly or privately, and don’t distribute it in any format. If you find it useful, tell me rather than the world.

Your feedback belongs to me

Highlights, reactions, comments, questionnaire answers and the reasons you give when pausing or switching all become mine to keep and use. I can use them to revise the book, and I may thank beta readers in the acknowledgments of the published edition. Say the word if you’d rather not be named.

No commercial use

The text is here for you to read and comment on. You may not sell it, license it, adapt it, print it, or feed it into a machine-learning model, and you may not use it for any commercial purpose.

Access is personal

One reader per account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in to yourself — please don’t lend your access or share your credentials, however kindly meant.

Access can end

I can pause or remove a reader at any time, including where confidentiality has been broken or access has stopped being a good fit for the beta read. Where a reader is removed, their record can be deleted on request as set out in the privacy policy.

These terms may change

If the beta read grows, this page may be updated. Continued reading after an update means the new version applies.

Any question about either page: write to info@zoandros.com.
